Last week I had a meeting with a researcher who previously worked at Google's "moonshots" division, specifically in applying quantum computers.
His observations: Core Devs are skeptical of quantum, but not deep enough in the field of quantum computers to properly assess the risks.
BTC's current path to post-quantum will be slow unless this changes.
