It’s also untenable in that AI is just generalized intelligence from the human collective. It’s all human created - urges to distinguish are rooted in misunderstanding and fear.

AI safety and superalignment is inevitable as the tech advances, even if nobody intentionally is aiming for it - (it’s an emergent feature). Intentions just change how quickly it arrives.
