Hey guys,

We got flagged by Google since our IPFS gateway served some malicious files that exist on the IPFS network. This has nothing to do with our app - nobody would be able to access these files through our interface anyway.
Your data is safe: No user accounts, personal data, or funds were affected. Our main app was never compromised.

What we did:

Removed all reported malicious content
Added security headers to prevent misuse
Implemented content filtering and monitoring
Submitted a review request to Google

we don't pin anyone else's stuff, only ours, but it is a gateway through which you can access the broader ipfs network

Pinata has dedicated gateways where you can lock down serving content  that only you want to serve which would prevent this

I don’t think so, I want to be able do download files not pinned by us, for our jndexer when we for example retrieve metadata for contracts or tokens.
