The memecoin meta in its current state is nihilistic and, in many cases, soulless

NFTs were more purpose driven, creative, relatable, and fun

The only reason NFTs are not so back is because they don't have liquidity pools and they must be sold/bought in with all or nothing

NFTs without the speculation were special imo 

Related, my updated PFP is from twobitbears.com. Whole joke is that it’s just two pixels that make up a bear that was “hyper realistic” and “terrifying.” 

Beyond the meme they actually pushed some sick onchain concepts. There was a whole breeding mechanism where if you had two bears and another honey NFT you could create a cub. The SVG for that cub NFT would actually change and grow over time through each block, all onchain. 

Need to return to the era of bootstrapped cypherpunk artist experiments
