Bill Gates: These jobs are safe from AI for now Bill Gates says that there are three categories of jobs that AI has not been able to replace: 1_ Biologists because scientific discovery does not proceed with data alone; you have to have intuition, look for strange results, and discover from the heart of "feeling"; something that AI cannot do right now. 2_ Energy experts because energy issues (power outages, new fuels, climate change) are constantly changing and require real-time decision-making; where AI cannot yet react quickly. 3_Programmers because AI cannot yet write bug-free and automated code for itself; so humans are in control for now.
