Context: "Within Reach"

Taken on an afternoon with the love of my life. This photograph aims to tell the story of being within reach of what you are searching for, but it's out of sight. To find it you have to take the dive, and swim. Keeping your head above water just wont cut it.

I’ll always love this work. It’s a part of me, and helps me learn that the deep end is only a long breath away.

This work is special to me because we are no longer together. It’s a reminder to myself that I didn’t take the dive when what I truly wanted was there all along, within reach. I was surrounded in a pool of blue, staying afloat rather than swimming
