Being very sarcastic😆😆😆 My feed is filled with people whoring themselves for pocket change and massive hype cliques tearing around the algo leaving us regulars to just shake our head in frustration. Honestly don’t even recognize my feed anymore. Like bots endlessly talking nonsense to each other.

Pretty much. Watching the last of my engagement die on the last social media app I had any traction on wondering what I’m gonna do next considering my depression/anxiety shell keeps me from meeting people irl…unheard and unseen, artists worst nightmare, worse than being broke…I’m not a hype beast and abhor follow-me bs…

I feel you man, some people absolutely thrive on it, but not me either. I prefer the conversations than trying to hype and follow me type stuff but clearly we are feelin similar sentiments where that’s fading. I like the new meta of tipping from noice or tipn out of our own pockets, but regardless of the system, incentivized engagement seems to change the way everyone interacts with each other. Maybe some of it is truly rewarding good content and good conversation, but the bulk of it really just is farming and if you’re not in the business of farming, you’re falling behind 🙃
