I have been toying with the idea of a Hypersub subscription based on my /books reading list. However, my previous experience with Substack (I wrote a weekly newsletter for ~2 years) makes me hesitate. Towards the end the newsletter became less fun, but I felt obligated to keep going since I had paying subscribers.

Totally understand, the pressure from something like that can be overwhelming if you’re doing the hypersub I’d say you drop a book you’ve read everyweek and maybe a short note on what you learn from it and why you recommend it, I think dropped just 4 books in a month would reduce the pressure and would be better to keep up with and manage
