Pain Points

Everything being wallet and finance based. Maybe this is showing my age but having finances attached to every product I interact with has always made me weary about web3. And the work around being having multiple wallets is a pain point in and of itself.

The problem with "having finances attached to every product" doesn't get enough attention within the web3 community, since we're already primed to see markets in everything. But that's not how most people see the world, and we as web3 builders need to expand our vision to be a welcoming space for the next billion.

I also think there should be more exploration of the sweet spot in the middle, where efficient markets help solve non-financial problems behind the scenes w/o necessarily feeling like markets to most users. So much of what I see in web3 today feels like "markets for the sake of markets", which turns many people off.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. It seems like it’s just accepted and I never understood why. 

Maybe it’s okay if the goal is to get in make your money and get out. (Which is totally fine, everyone has their own goals and priorities)

But def not okay for long term sustainability in the space.
