This week will be the first week in over a month where the Base team won't be increasing the gas target, why? On Wednesday fault proofs go live on Base, moving the entire network toward Stage 1 Decentralization. This change is a huge milestone because it allows anyone to deposit and withdraw funds to/from Base via Ethereum without having to rely on any centralized actors. Base is for everyone.
