are the micro payments happening based on farcaster protocol engagements? Eg, if I set my like tip on noice, but engage within the farcaster app, the noice will still flow? Curious because I’ve been considering bringing in protocol likes to my other app and it would be cool to control the price flow with noice

awesome, that gives me quite a few ideas, and another question: can people use other tokens to tip, but the recipient receives the tip in USDC? e.g., i set 10,000 degen limit to give out this month, with $0.01 USDC worth of degen for each tip?

Oh why not? If people can choose to tip in any token, wouldn’t it make sense to be able to receive in usdc? Thinking for tax purposes & other benefits

I think so! Adds stability to a typically volatile system, which I think is a major component of micro transactions Eg if I’m earning $0.01 per tip but then in a week it’s worth $0.00001, kind of defeats the purpose. But at the moment of transaction, it’s with that cent for the tipper The recipient can opt in to volatility (speculation) or stability (usdc) depending on their goals with receiving the tips
