The introduction of CBDCs may change market perception of digital currencies. Some investors may view CBDCs as more legitimate and regulated digital currencies, and thus reduce their investment in BTC. Especially for institutional investors who are more sensitive to regulation and stability, they may be more inclined to participate in CBDC-related projects or products rather than BTC.
