Why did it exist?
It had always been challenging to quantify the value a cast generated, not to mention how to capture that value for the author. Memecoin offered an opportunity for the market to determine the virality and price of the content, while also allowing cast authors to capture the value they created.

Excited to launch WAGMC v2.0!

What is WAGMC?
It's a memecoin bot on Farcaster. It analyzes casts and selects the one with the most meme-worthy content to launch a memecoin. 30% of the total supply will be allocated to the original cast author, while the remaining 70% will be available for public trade. WAGMC charges a 0.03% fee to cover the costs of deploying the token, we aim to take at least as possible and maximize the value for the Farcaster community.

WAGMC v2.0 is coming soon. 

The biggest update:
- Cast authors will own 30% of the total supply of the memecoin.

Users can get "verified" badge by staking $10 USDC in a contract. The stake can be reclaimed at any time, but will only release after a delay (maybe 4-8 weeks). 

Verified users will get the following benefits:

The goal is to make it harder for spammers to verify so that good humans on Farcaster have a better experience!
