To compare the audiences of X, Farcaster, and Lens, I decided to look at Vitalik Buterin’s account, since that’s how I first learned about the latter two.
I wanted to understand the scale of these apps. It seems that the number of followers is a fairly relevant metric, and let’s risk assuming that the share of bots is roughly the same everywhere. I attached a screenshot for comparison, and you can see that:
X ~ 10 × Farcaster ~ 100 × Lens
But for some reason, I feel that the quality of the audience on Farcaster and Lens is much higher than on X (probably the average IQ too).
