why don't we see way more groundbreaking drug trials in ~china? while the money is obviously in the US, you would think the population density and efficiency of the chinese state (such as w industrial policy) would lead to drug makers using it as a ~"testnet" for data gathering in advance of dealing with the [very expensive] FDA..
