Basically if some individual is buying $opsys they are betting on operating system's success? if yes interesting concept. and would give mini app a look once it's live

It’s not betting, we built it as a utility token. Anyone interested in working with us buys 1% of token supply. 50% of that gets locked for a year (equates to a 1-year contract) and 50% goes to us to perform a discovery session and develop a scope. The more projects we do = the price of the coin going up. It’s a long term strategy and an experiment we are running to building in public and integrate our studio on-chain.
