Do you have a dot file strategy for shell history?

At the moment I’m using nushell which has its own built in history, so I’m not managing that through dotfiles if that answers your question

Not familiar with nushell, using zsh. But will nushell transfer your history to a new computer you setup using your dotfiles?

Not sure actually, I generally don't do that when switching machines but I'm sure it's similar to zsh where it's located in a local cache you can backup if you want to
