X reached out to me, saying we violated some ToS by selling data and selling some things that bypassed API keys. We don't do that, never did, never will. They linked directly to my open source code as the reason for deletion. Code I didn't even mostly write, was hacked together from other OSS stuff They said they'd get off our back if we paid $50k/mo for the Enterprise license We pay $1k/mo for the yellow check and $200/mo for the dev license Why would an enterprise account change my ability to publish open source code? It was extortion, plain and simple, and it shouldn't be legal I don't want to be part of a system like that. It's everything I stand against. Debating whether to make this a legal issue or not

Oh yeah, I do:) I've been using them for years - no excuse - mountain hikes, running (10+ km), running in mountains:D I love it - the connection with the ground is there (and I don't mean any magical force fields, just that you feel what is under your feet and you must be aware of "dangers") I wear my "huarache" inspired DIY sandals most of the year:)

I’ve been organizing @ethereum hackathons for 3 years. I was able to do that largely due to being an ESP grantee for Ecosystem Support. Last year I caught myself wishing I could clone myself to help more events, - because unless you’re a serial organizer like me, you might be missing tools and the network to put together a great event. 🕯️thus I’m launching Hacker Archives - uniting kits, hacker projects, and different initiatives like Safe Events to serve hackers, organizers and sponsors alike. It is a work in progress but DM to contribute or support us❣️ You can find the wireframe of the website below - before you say it - I am aware of the glaring spelling errors and I just want to let you know that I made this at 4am in canva.

Something clicked today: I've overheard @jarradhope say something like this during all-hands "I don't want to discuss this with you until you read what I've read/told you to read" (I don't remember precisely. ) And I did not entirely understand why. Today I showed the Farewell to Westphalia to my neighbour and he was very dismissive of the idea that nation states might be dying and obsolete tech. And it was very hard to have a conversation about whether or not it is true, because he lacked all the context. Hence the conversation was not about whether the arguments made in the book are correct or not and whether there is a better governance possible, but about me trying to convince him to at least consider the possibility of the current system not being ok. I hear you, @jarradhope :)

I've seen so much passion and excitement over the past few days, but also doubts if all we want can be done and if anyone actually cares - and that's ok, as long as we are moving forward towards the common goal and are public and loud about it, the tribe will grow:) Kudos to organizers (internal and external - FYI onsitehub.eu) - it was perfect! Also kudos to @jarradhope for pushing us to think about why and how we do things - I really appreciate your insights and leadership.

It's hard to express how much it means to me that I was able to connect with many people from all the projects ( @waku, @codexstorage , Keycard, vacp2p, Nomos, @ethstatus, ...) on both work/technical level, but also on personal level - it is so much easier to collaborate when you "know" the other person (at least for me):) I will also selfishly say that I think Waku has the best lead we could wish for, Thanks @fryorcraken.eth. I've been overusing the word "tribe" in the last few days as it's been put forward by Jarrad as something we really want and need - build a tribe, not just userbase - we need/want people who care about what we do to help us get "there" faster and better - and we need the tribe to help us figure out where/what "there" is. Anyway, so many exciting things are going on - I am just full of it and I needed to let it out:)

TL;DR: I am so happy and excited to be part of IFT and I love all the people and what we do:) The Institute of Free Technology (free.technology) all-hands has been a blast! I am so bullish on all the people and the tech and what we are building - permissionless privacy and censorship-resistance for everybody.

1. Initial load will take a bit longer becasue the Waku node is discovering peers from scratch and that takes some time. Subsequent loads should be much faster. 2. If you get stuck with a spinner spinning, reload, there is some race condition somewhere and I did not spend enough time to find it yet:) 3. Check the browser console (F12) for errors, Websocket connection failed errors are expected - some nodes are still in discovery DHT, but not actually online, so connecting to them fails. Errors about Store query failed with status code: 300 are also known and are related to bad nodes in the network, js-waku team is looking at how to mitigate using bad Store nodes

Dear Farcaster-verse, can you help me test an app I created? It's called Qaku - Q&A over Waku - https://qaku.app It is a stateless webapp which only relies on @Waku_org for short-lived Q&As. It is fully decentralized - the only infra is Waku Network and Qaku browser instances. It uses Event Sourcing approach to resolve current state and Waku Store protocol as a "database" (hence the short-liveness of the Q&A as they go eventually dumped from Store nodes) Please go an play around with it, create a Q&A, record feedback and let me know what works, what doesn't and what do you think in general. I'd like to push for Qaku to be actually used internally, but would appreciate feedback from random humans of the world:) Here is an existing Q&A, so you can post your feedback there, so that we get a big one:) https://qaku.app/q/X0d906767/4brh37 Github: https://github.com/vpavlin/qaku PS: If you want to help, pelase retweet:)
