I don’t think we have nailed creator monetization with crypto yet. But I do think it is worth experimentation.

For one we need to make it less “crypto”. Normies won’t take to “coining” or “minting” especially as replacements for what’s essentially tipping. “Collect” may stick, and NFTs as collectibles makes sense. 

But naming is ultra important and critical to understanding what it is you’re doing. Until we get that right monetization is stuck at the starting line.

Normies also hate NFTs. So collecting should be “less NFT” too. 

It could be like buying something exclusive, like a skin or sticker without knowing it’s an NFT.

Very much so. There's no reason for anyone *needs* to know what's under the hood for any crypto products. The more abstracted away the better. 

People shopping on Amazon have no idea wtf TLS is, and they shouldn't.
