Kuah Beulangong is one of the most iconic traditional culinary delights of the Acehnese people. The name Bbeulangong" comes from the Acehnese language, meaning "large cauldron," which is the main tool used to cook this dish. Since ancient times, Kuah Beulangong has been more than just a food, but also a symbol of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and Acehnese customs.
Kuah Beulangong is almost always present at major events such as feasts, weddings, celebrations of the Prophet's birthday, circumcisions, and Islamic holidays.
