Plotting to take onchain mainstream  

All through crypto’s existence, the quintessential problem it’s repeatedly come back with “what do I do with crypto?”. Finally, with L2s maturing and new applications emerging, we are starting to solve this problem.  

This is what @base is tackling head on by evolving Coinbase Wallet from a simple asset management solution to the home base of crypto and it’s L2 Base. We've been working closely with @coinbasewallet to power their upcoming social experiences on Farcaster and Base.

What does a richer, more connected Coinbase Wallet feel like? It's not just social, it's actually connected:
- Search to discover content, apps, and people
- Social notifications to connect, in real time
- Filter the noise to find apps you enjoy
- Engage directly with creators, all in one place

GENIUS Act will mean that any at-scale company with a lot of payments—both retail and B2B—will explore how to nudge consumers (and force vendors) to use the payment method.

Under the radar, but Walmart has a neobank that is used by a lot of their millions of employees and increasingly customers to do in-store payments.

The challenge is if you don't already have a balance loaded into an app, you're still going to use a debit or credit card.

Why stablecoins will be more likley a sustaining innovation that benefits incumbents in most cases vs. a disruptive innovation benefitting startups.
