Ethereum is a radically different type of era-spanning and global institution. One that has quite literally never existed before. Ethereum is a completely digital, decentralized, censorship-resistant, credibly neutral, self-sovereign, institution that anyone in the world can fully verify the rules of for themselves with some low-powered hardware and an internet connection. Ethereum as an institution wants to exist not for decades or centuries but for thousands of years - it wants to outlast nation states and entire civilizations - it wants to be alien technology. The value of this institution can be difficult to quantify - it's like trying to quantify the value of the internet or a major religion - but imo it is, at minimum, worth tens of trillions of dollars. On a longer time horizon, it is worth hundreds of trillions (if not more). The institution is Ethereum and the ticker is ETH.

Flashblocks make Base 10x faster. We're starting to test Flashblocks in a staged rollout on Base, reducing effective block times from 2 seconds to 200 milliseconds. Builders can integrate Flashblocks on testnet today to prepare for the full rollout.

Claymation is also a great style to prompt images with. People are going to credit 2000s nostalgia and Apple's spatial UI for the reemergence of 3D iconography but I think we all just desparately want to emulate offscreen interactions.

I had a great catch up with @dish today. They've had a tough situation and I respect how transparent and forthcoming they've been throughout the whole ordealβ€”it's hard to do and they've done a great job. I'm bullish on the @clanker team, what they're cooking and how they are thinking about the space. Higher.

One of my joys recently has been daily 30 minutes practice of Colemak-DH. I can actively feel neurons firing off in my brain as I fight really hard to retrain 20+ years of deep muscle memory. The true joy comes when the subconscious starts kicking in from earlier lessons and I can fall back and reliably type letters that previously felt impossible. I'm only on the home row and I can already attest the recurring comments that Colemak really makes typing a joy. For the uninformed, qwerty was optimized to reduce collision on typewriter keys from hitting one another, made over 100 years ago. On the contrary, Colemak was made almost 20 years ago and optimizes for typing in the English language by arranging letters by frequency. Highly recommend if you enjoy writing and computing as hobbies. Also shoutout to keybr.com for the flexible and highly engaging sessions it generates, all for free!
