Daniel Mullen's "Transfigurations" is a visual journey through his investigations of geometry, color, and optical vibrations. The book contains 40 pieces in a leporello format, making it an art object in and of itself. Each day, Mullen would create a new painting building off the previous day's work by transforming an element to create a new composition. As you navigate each frame, you get a sense of this evolution. Mullen is, to me, our generation's 3D Josef Albers. It’s an honor to carry and stock Transfigurations in the Hypernormal Shop. https://hypernormal.space/products/transfigurations Photo credit belongs to The Book Photographer.
