Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 13… The longest stage of this Tour turned into a true breakaway battle. Once again, one thing stands out in this edition: the incredible average speed. Day after day, despite the heat, the racing simply doesn’t slow down. The second breakaway to make it all the way in this Tour was finally allowed to go, after almost a third of the peloton made it into the first move and Pogačar was happy to let the race unfold saving energy for his team. The action exploded on the final climbs, where Harold Tejada and Mauro Schmid fought all the way to the finish after spending most of the day out front. The Swiss rider timed his move perfectly to take the victory, while Tom Pidcock’s impressive ride moved him up the GC. He is now fourth overall and starting to dream of a place on the podium of this Tour. Photo by Getty Images

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 12… Just caught up with yesterday’s stage highlights, and Tim Merlier really is the fastest man in this Tour right now. Three stage wins already. It’s a shame the finale was overshadowed by that big crash just before the line. Today, stage 13, brings a completely different challenge. Back to the mountains for another important test among the GC contenders… and who knows, maybe another masterclass from Pogačar. Photo by Getty Images

Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 11 live… With less than 20 kilometers to go, the peloton is flying to bring back the breakaway and set up what promises to be a fast and furious final sprint. Merlier has shown he’s in great form, and after his teammates helped him avoid the OTL in yesterday’s stage, he’ll have even more motivation to go for the win today. But of course, Kanter, Philipsen, Kooij, Girmay, and the rest of the sprint contenders have their own reasons to believe they can take it… Who takes the sprint today? 👀 I go for Merlier once again!
