Eyes on Tour de France 🇫🇷 Stage 13…
The longest stage of this Tour turned into a true breakaway battle.
Once again, one thing stands out in this edition: the incredible average speed. Day after day, despite the heat, the racing simply doesn’t slow down.
The second breakaway to make it all the way in this Tour was finally allowed to go, after almost a third of the peloton made it into the first move and PogaÄŤar was happy to let the race unfold saving energy for his team.
The action exploded on the final climbs, where Harold Tejada and Mauro Schmid fought all the way to the finish after spending most of the day out front.
The Swiss rider timed his move perfectly to take the victory, while Tom Pidcock’s impressive ride moved him up the GC. He is now fourth overall and starting to dream of a place on the podium of this Tour.
