Eyes on La Vuelta 🇪🇸 Stage 19 live… Starting with the big takeaway from yesterday: Roglič didn’t take a huge amount of time out of Mas in the TT. Quite the opposite for Gall, who lost second place to Primož. Stefan Küng won the TT, job done and then, headed straight to Canada to start preparing for the World Championships in Montréal in a couple of weeks, but I’ll come back to that once these final days of La Vuelta are over 😅🤓, because there is still plenty to watch here. Today, we’re back in the mountains. The stage is already underway and the fight for the breakaway is on. 210 km, almost 4,200 metres of elevation gain and the climb to Peñas Blancas waiting at the end. For Mas, the plan looks quite simple now: stay on Roglič’s wheel for the final three stages and make him take the risks. If Primož wants to win this Vuelta, he has to make something happen.
