Eyes on La Vuelta 🇪🇸 Stage 04 live…
After yesterday’s madness, today’s stage is explosive from the very first kilometre.
Just 104 km, but almost 3,800 metres of climbing packed into a brutal day in Andorra.
Also yesterday gave us one of those stories that only cycling can create: a sudden hailstorm forced the race to stop and to be cancelled with just 15 km remaining, with Pedersen and Pogačar among those helping to bring the peloton to a halt before riders found shelter in a hotel. Somehow, that hotel became one of the unexpected stars of the day, receiving a wave of five-star reviews from riders and teams after taking in the entire peloton for more than an hour 😅
Today, there’s no hiding from the mountains. The first real GC test of this Vuelta is finally here, just four days into the race.
After yesterday’s unfinished business, I really want to see what Tadej does today.
