In a simple term, it's just when systems exchange and make use of information .
  Cross-Chain compatibility is also a core feature of it ........

Cross_chain compatibility  whis is the ability for different blockchains (like Ethereum, Cosmos, or L2s) to work together , share tokens, and data as if they were one system.

Imagine :
Using a bank card to withdraw from different banks (UBA x GTB × Access Bank etc)

This has been hard in crypto until now

and back.
