No. Derivation will reorg the L2 if the L1 reorgs, so it doesn’t need to wait for finalization.

But for UX, generally the sequencer will wait for a few confirmations as to not have the unsafe chain reorg constantly. This is why deposits are fast, but not _that_ fast.
