🎬 High School DxD 📅 Years: 2012–2018 🎭 Genre: Action, Ecchi, Comedy, Supernatural, Harem 🎞 Studios: TNK (Seasons 1–3), Passione (Season 4) 💬 Full Series Review: High School DxD is an iconic mix of supernatural action, outrageous ecchi, and surprisingly heartfelt character arcs. Across four seasons, it follows Issei Hyoudou — a typical perverted teen who dreams of building a harem. His life takes a drastic turn after he’s killed on his first date… and reincarnated as a devil by the crimson-haired Rias Gremory.

🩸 Season 1 (2012) introduces the power struggle between angels, fallen angels, and devils. The harem starts forming, but the plot builds a solid supernatural foundation that keeps you watching for more than just fanservice. ⚔️ Season 2: High School DxD New (2013) expands the universe with holy swords, Church warriors, and stronger foes. Comedy and tension escalate, and new girls join the cast, deepening both the lore and the relationships. 🔥 Season 3: High School DxD Born (2015) dives into Issei’s emotional trauma, jealousy, and love for Rias. However, the anime deviates from the original light novel toward the end, leading to some controversy among fans. 🌌 Season 4: High School DxD Hero (2018) — a soft reboot by Studio Passione — realigns the story with the light novel. The animation style changes noticeably, the pacing improves, and the emotional storytelling hits harder. The Rating Game vs. Sairaorg Bael is a major highlight, full of high-stakes drama and powerful moments.

🎨 TNK vs. Passione: Which Studio Was Better? TNK brought raw energy, bold character designs, and iconic fanservice scenes. However, it sometimes struggled with animation quality and pacing — especially in Season 3. Passione, on the other hand, delivered a cleaner, more polished look and stayed faithful to the source material. While some fans missed TNK’s wilder style, Passione’s take felt more mature, consistent, and emotionally resonant. 📌 Verdict: Passione handled the story better and gave us a more balanced experience — without losing the soul of DxD. But TNK will always be remembered for the chaotic charm of the early seasons.

🌟 Why High School DxD Works: Unapologetic ecchi mixed with real story and worldbuilding Issei’s growth from a joke to a true warrior with heart Strong and diverse female cast with actual depth Memorable battles, emotional payoffs, and hilarious moments An anime that doesn't pretend to be something it's not — and that’s part of its power 🧨 Final Rating: 8.5/10 Whether you're here for bouncing battles or heartfelt devils, High School DxD is more than just fanservice. It’s a crazy ride filled with power-ups, punchlines, and a surprising amount of heart.
