I just randomly remebered how my internship last year was a terrible experience. 

I was asked to wash plates twice, I ran errands for fuel whenever they took light, I was asked to buy food multiple times, and also dealt with senior officers who were intrusive. To make matters worse I wasn’t paid a dime for three good months. It was honestly really terrible. 

Is this a common experience for interns? And has anyone experienced this?

It’s not common but Nigerians can be so terrible, they don’t pay interns well(if they pay at all) but they use and use.

I’m telling you, i hope the system gets better
