The state of Arizona has etched a historic milestone with the passage of the groundbreaking ‘Bitcoin Reserve’ HB2324 legislation 🇺🇸🪙, establishing a reserve fund from seized assets born of illicit deeds. Should Governor Katie Hobbs affix her signature, this would mark the second such reserve law to ascend into statute within the state’s annals. A poignant reflection: Governor Hobbs previously vetoed two Bitcoin Reserve bills (SB1373 and SB1025), which sought to empower the state to invest in cryptocurrency. Yet, she has embraced HB2749, a contrasting measure to forge a reserve for unclaimed assets.
