The @vooi-app terminal presents raw materials: XAU/USD, XAG/USD, CL/USD, HG/USD. I choose gold and silver for trading. Gold (XAU/USD) is a safe haven asset that investors turn to during times of economic instability, inflation, and falling stock markets. It's price often moves in the opposite direction to the dollar and interest rates. It's used to preserve capital. Silver (XAG/USD) is a more volatile and combines investment and industrial properties. It's cheaper than gold and is actively used in technology. It often moves in the same direction as gold, but with a greater amplitude, suitable for investment and short-term speculation.

Today I wanted to introduce you to the assets presented there, namely the forex and commodities groups. Forex (Foreign Exchange Market) trading is the process of buying and selling currencies to make a profit from their fluctuations. It's one of the largest and most liquid financial markets in the world, with a daily trading volume exceeding $6 trillion (as of 2024). The trading currency pairs are traded on @vooi-app: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CAD, USD/MXN. We can choose leverage from 1 to 200x. Currencies are traded in pairs, where one is the base currency and the other is the quoted currency.

Local cycles are short-term, lasting for days, weeks or months. They can be within a global cycle. It's need to remember that cycles can be influenced by factors: BTC halving - a decrease in supply; macroeconomics - interest rates, inflation; regulation - laws, bans or approvals; technological trends - DeFi, AI, Layer 2; mass psychology - fear and greed drive the market. The psychological factor plays a key role in market cycles. It manifests itself differently in phases. During accumulation, it's fear, apathy. During growth, it's hope, optimism. In euphoria, it's greed, FOMO. And when the market falls, it's panic, denial, and capitulation.

2/3 The full cycle includes four phases: 1. Accumulation: occurs after a strong decline (bear market), the market is "in the shadows", interest in crypto and volatility is low. But smart investors begin to buy up assets. 2. Markup: prices start to rise steadily, growth may go into a violent pump. Media interest appears, assets are bought up en masse due to FOMO. 3. Euphoria, distribution: prices reach their maximums, belief in "eternal growth". Smart investors begin to take profits. 4. Markdown: market reversal, massive sell-offs, panic, capitulation, bear market. Weak players leave and some crypto projects cease to exist. It's important for traders to understand cycles, it helps to enter a trade at the right moment, teaches patience and discipline.

I like to trade this index and here's why. SPX - the ticker symbol of the S&P500 (Standard & Poor's 500), one of the key stock indices in the US. It includes 500 of the largest publicly traded US companies (Apple, Amazon, etc). It considered the main barometer of the health of the American economy and the stock market. SPX is not a cryptocurrency instrument, but it can be very useful for @vooi-app traders in terminal as an indicator of market sentiment and macroeconomic conditions. SPX and crypto are not directly related, but they move in the same information and macroeconomic field.
