I’ve been recasting liberally and almost treating recasts as “public bookmarks” or “super-likes”. This change might make me more selective about recasting things going forward.

I actually find that annoying on X. I’d want to be able to see only root casts/tweets of people I follow, or their root casts/tweets plus recasts, in separate sub feeds

Not a fan, unless we can turn off recasts per user like on X. I’ve been turning off reposts as and when I see a user reposting too much and it’s cleaned my feed up tremendously. A lot of noise created by reposting on X, prefer more focused feed. That said some people are more thoughtful in what they repost and for those it does add value.
