Being anti skilled immigration is bad policy for the American economy. This should be obvious because India and China work really hard to keep their best people from leaving for America. Their job just got a lot easier.

whatever policy you land on, you need to explain to citizens why they, as a group, aren’t talented enough to get high-status jobs in way that will not cause resentment. good luck.
