It's common to hear companies are more often looking for "systems thinkers." As a systems thinker, this is appealing, but imprecise.
I think a more helpful framing is that "place makers" are well-suited to usher the new era of work.
Documentation, standards, sources of truth, coordination, wayfinding, atmosphere, feedback, foundations, the list of word associations goes on.
It's like civil engineering for software.
