Security is very important especially when it involves interaction with wallets and dAppps
Thankfully this was resolved on time with no loss of users funds.
One thing builders and dev should note. Never assume your contract or escrow is đź’Ż safe and secure.
Always run audit
Last year December 2 of my wallet i used in deploying smart contracts got compromised and funds drained
I launched contracts for rewards claim and it was drained within seconds, i funded and it was drained. Did this for 4 consecutive times . I sincerely thought maybe because naughty or nice wrapped has more than 7000 users so that’s why the rewards finish
Later I carefully looked at it and discovered I didn’t verify wallet identity before claim, so someone discovered this bug and generated multiple wallets to claim rewards at once.
Security is very important to prevent losses and mistrust.
