Nothing like truly wondering if you and your family have a risk of dying! Is our boat seaworthy? Will one tired misstep cause someone to fall overboard? Do I confidently know how to perform a rescue? What if we have a medical emergency? What if the weather isn’t what was forecasted? Etc. 

But we made it! We’re in curacao now after 4 days and 3.5 nights at sea. We hit 10.9 knots SOG thanks to a current boost! A mostly grueling but extremely rewarding passage. 10/10
