The reason why Isp matters is because of Tsiolkovsky Rocket Equation Δv = Isp × g₀ × ln(m₀ / m_f) Δv: change in velocity you can achieve Isp: specific impulse m₀: initial mass (fully fueled) m_f: final mass (after burning fuel) g₀: standard gravity The higher the Isp, the means you can carry same less fuel, lower mass framction (m₀ / m_f) for the same mission - thrust isn't everything

Booking hotel for EDC and having trouble making a decision - Caesar’s is cheapest, but can’t guarantee what tower we’ll be in - bellagio is most expensive (by ~$1k), but best food and nicest experience. Closest to shuttle - Aria is in between price wise. Good food. But longest walk to shuttle EDC is our “big trip” every year and a special tradition for us

vulnerability. inspired by @mikanewton ‘s post to share a little more openly. there’s a lot shifting in my life right now. emotionally, physically, logistically - it’s been a lot. like wrangling a giant can of worms while making decisions that feel impossibly heavy. what nobody tells you about cancer is how long its shadow lingers. even when you’ve “recovered,” your body remembers. i’ve cycled through it all - pretending i had it handled, feeling hopeful, falling apart again, discovering more issues. and now i’m just… existing in the reality that maybe i won’t get better, and that’s hard to make peace with in a world not built for people like me. i don’t share this looking for pity. i share because i’m trying to live with more softness, more honesty - and in case it helps anyone else feel less alone while they figure out how to keep going, too.

I really hate when skincare companies do this - especially as a photo major. The lighting / time of day / white balance editing etc. can all be used to make your skin look dramatically different fwiw I’ve had great results from current body blue light for acne but I wish they posted professional before/afters
