Yes. jQuery was overwhelming 90% in one point. But it is not anymore. The trick is not to look current, but how things will shift.

I can't think of a single project I've gone into in the past few years that was using CSS modules. It's overwhelmingly Tailwind, and sometimes some UI library like Chakra or MUI

Personal experience, though. Can't say whether that's true of the industry as a whole

Nvm, I got it. Yeah dude, agreed. I’ll reach for shadcn for that, which is Tailwind but I don’t mind if it’s essentially just styling someone else’s component library.

Maintaining a component library that uses tailwind has a bunch of problems though. And if I was building a component library from scratch, I’d just reach for CSS modules.

No conflicts with the consumer, I know CSS better than tailwind, and honestly I feel like you I worse markup with tailwind. It makes it easy to be lazy.

Hate using which? CSS modules or tailwind?

hate using those for quick prototyping tho

i’m sure this is great but i’m such a tailwind maxi and this was a couple years ago when i was too lazy to learn css. picked it up years after so i respect this.
