Good question! This is a very lightweight silk. Silk has excellent temperature regulating properties and so is a great fabric to wear alone in summer heat or as an underlayer in winter cold. That's why it's part of my "seasonless" line :)

Was not sure about thermoregulation, made some long sleeves from silk twill and it was very hot in Summer haha

yeah i think because a twill weave is pretty dense and so not as breathable. but i bet a plain, lightweight weave would feel much better. nice & airy

Yeah I’m sure too, red that Silk helps regulate temperature, and can be very warm, that’s why it was used in aircraft pilot gloves !!
