Turns out, a lot of crypto investors are focused on "Total Value Locked" (TVL), but this article argues it's not a great indicator of returns. It doesn't necessarily mean a platform with a high TVL is performing well. Focusing on things like the underlying project’s health and tokenomics is probably more important. Basically, don't blindly chase the biggest numbers.
