For the creation of innovative - packaging - design concepts, we're looking for a new Saarinen, Neutra, or Gehry (in a packaging - design context). Unfortunately, the consumer - culture and design - innovation - driven climates that inspired their design works haven't been as significant since the mid - 20th century. Perhaps the current emphasis on sustainable packaging could be the catalyst for new innovative - packaging - design concepts.
