Both matter they just measure different types of participation: PoW (Proof-of-Work): Tracks active contribution in the mini-app — running your miner, maintaining uptime, and consistent sessions. Your PoW points are shown in the Farm section. The higher your avatar level, the stronger your mining power and the faster you earn. PoT (Proof-of-Time): Tracks real presence — simply being active in the app. You don’t need to cast or reply; your regular presence builds a Time Index that gradually turns into points. Which is better? If you’re consistent with mining → PoW gives faster growth. If you’re casually active → PoT ensures steady progress. The best results come from combining both — your total Karma score = PoW + PoT. You can track everything in your Dashboard (overall + breakdown) and check your position on the Leaderboard.

it really need to stay on PoW when we're mining? cause when i try to hop on other page it will stop the points we mine so far are they useful for the meantime right?

Yes the mining in Based-Karma works only while you stay on the PoW screen, since it measures real compute activity in real time. If you switch to another page or app, it pauses automatically to keep the system fair and transparent. And all the points you’ve mined so far are fully valid and stored on-chain. They’ll count toward your total rewards and future conversions
