a whole lot of you have become people i can’t imagine not seeing in my feed every day yet sometimes i’m reminded people do log out and not log back in, choosing to disappear into the abyss of the internet need to stop taking it for granted many things are more fragile than we care to admit

i always think—what if my online friends log out and die¿¿ the fact that i might not hear about them for months or even years makes me emotional ;(

it’s also interesting how the algo moves people out of your feed for a little bit, life takes over, and then one day they’re back in your feed, and you can’t believe you haven’t talked to them in a while.

It used to be this way in life in general before social. I used to hate how people would be in ur life and then if you move or don’t call they are gone basically. Social has seem to have taken its place but in an even more connected way!

It gets to be a lot sometimes. Breaks are good. I've had to learn to manage my time to prioritize my mental health. It definitely comes at the expense of getting more stuff done, but I need to feel as best I can.
