I don’t smoke but I once did. All the people I’ve liked most in the world smoked at least for a short portion of their lives I’ve had some of the best conversations over a smoke and met strangers I wouldn’t have normally gotten to know. Touching grass for real Smoking during writers block? Coffee and a ciggy in the morning? After sex? Chef’s kiss! I hate the judgment and distain some people direct at smokers. Nicotine hits the opiate receptors in your brain. Addicts often quit everything except cigarettes because it’s such a gnarly addiction to kick Anyway, I really don’t want you to start smoking. The best times of my life have been long road trips w my daughter. They were especially great when she was a tween and teenager. Something about hours on the road helped us surrender to the road and really connect with each other. I think that’s why this surveillance technology in cars is so offensive to me and I’m surprised so many people are acquiescing Cars can be sacred places and privacy is a right I’m annoyed
