I see those videos of people beating up robots or people helping food delivery bots when they fall off a curb and it’s overwhelming. 

For one, those little delivery coolers are cute but also surveillance tools. For another, what kind of psycho physically abuses a robot? It feels cruel 

Anyway I’m not ready to feel empathy for AI’s but I know I will because I already do and this stresses me out because there isn’t enough empathy extended towards our fellow people

What’s coming feels like an unwanted pregnancy. I know there are and will be great outcomes but mostly I resent being forced to contend with it all. We all know what happens to unwanted children 

How long before I’m the asshole for saying “people first”?
