A big thank you to everyone for a wonderful demo day for Roc Camera

Thanks @phil @mcbain @dfern.eth @avichalp.eth @divyav.eth et al for coming out all the way to pick up your Roc Camera and spending the sunny day by the beach. Thanks for believing in us. This has been a long time in the making! Excited to finally get you your camera. 

Thanks @patriciaxlee.eth for hosting our event, and to The Next Wave. A wonderful and beautiful space / venue. Understated how the vibes that she's curating and cultivating permeates all the artifacts that she collects. It is the real deal, and I think others who came to our event yesterday understand what I mean when I say this. 

Getting you your Roc Cameras that we've been working on has been nothing short of gratifying for myself, @slithy-toves and @crick. Thanks for making that happen. For our customers that are waiting for their devices -- we hear you, and we're excited to keep shipping more Roc Cameras in the coming weeks as we continue to fulfill our preorders

ROC camera meetups are gonna be super high signal.

Why? 

The ROC camera in its nature appeals to people who believe *both* that (1) the frontier of technology should be accelerated *and* (2) the delicacy of human connection should be preserved.

^ This belief set does not overlap much, but these are My People.

I cant believe you have to ask!

I'm excited about tech less for the "go to mars" and more for the "no one should see their kid or friend die of cancer" or "no one should have to work an unhealthy job"

Thinking about how we make the advancements without losing the human element of life would be amazing!

I know what the good people want and I want it too.  I’m just old enough to stop believing good prevails 

That said, I’m buckled in and hope I’m wrong

I do know what you mean. 

I actually dont believe the technology train is possible to stop (market forces are too strong, and the world is too big), so it's up to good people to do something with it or else the bad people will by default – as you say.
