One of my kids is currently in surgery, I'm staying here at the hospital with them for a couple days. Not an emergency but it is a big surgery, spinal fusion with osteotomies (shaving off parts of the spine and installing titanium screws and a rod to improve spinal curve from kyphosis). Just grateful to have good medical care and insurance in a world where everyone should but so many don't. Very proud of them for being so brave to go through with it.
