i’m in a bit of a conundrum. making 10000.00 DEGEN was easier than staking it. So without research lol I’m like “I try something” and sent it to the wrong wallet intended. I had intended Coinbase..Now. it’s in MetaMask, and says I need to buy a minuscule amount of a suspicious looking coin called DEG

that doesnt make sense, don't buy deg. never even heard of it, you should be able to transfer the degen from your meta to your cb wallet using a small amount of base eth for the gas

the only reason i can think of you needing degen to move degen is if it's on the L3 degen chain as in you haven't bridged it to base=degen (L2) yet maybe that's what's going on? I don't recall it ever being refferred to as DEG though so you're right to be wary
